General Information

The Principal is available between 9:30 and 10:10 a.m. on all school days, and from 8:30 a.m. to9:00 a.m. during Morning School days. At other times parents are required to make previous appointments.

When writing to the Principal, parents are requested to mention the standard and division in which their son is studying. They are requested to inform the school immediately about a change of address or telephone number.

Parents are expected inculcate regular study habits & discipline in their children. They should see that their children prepare their lessons, which ought to be noted down by the boy in the calendar.

Parents are requested to curtail picture going during the week in order to inculcate regular habits of study, and to allow their wards to see a picture only over the week-end. They should spend at least two and half hours for study at home especially of higher classes.

Parents are requested to encourage their children to take part in co-curricular activities.

Parents are informed that occasionally teachers send report and messages in the Calendar. Hence parents should check their son’s Calendars from time to time. Progress reports are issued after each examination. Parents are particularly requested to sign such reports and messages. Failure to do so may put their children to great inconvenience.

Parents are reminded that engaging private tutors for their children or sending them to coaching classes may prove injurious to solid work and progress in studies or be a source of distraction and indiscipline in class. Hence, no boy may take tuition in any subject or attend coaching classes without first consulting the Principal and obtaining his written permission in the Calendar.

Parents and guardians should bring any complaints they may have to the Principal and not to the teachers. Parents / guardians and others may not see boys or their teachers during school hours without the permission of the Principal. Since members of the staff may only be interviewed when they are not teaching, an appointment with them should be made beforehand.

Parents / guardians are requested to be present in school when called for, after unit tests and examinations, to meet teachers about their son’s/wards’ progress and for P.T.A. meetings.

Parents are requested not to allow boys to use motorised vehicles. If they come to the school riding or driving a vehicle, disciplinary action will be taken.
